Hi, I’m Vanessa, owner of Wag Watchers Daycare & Spa in downtown Lincolnton.
With years of hands-on experience in grooming and pet care, I created Wag Watchers to be a different kind of environment—one that focuses on quality over quantity. Here, dogs aren’t just another appointment or kennel number. They’re treated like family.
I specialize in one-on-one grooming, small group daycare, and personalized care, making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. My goal has always been to provide a calm, low-stress space where pets can relax, play, and be themselves.

Bryson is a dedicated daycare tech at Wag Watchers Daycare & Spa and a current high school student with a strong passion for working with dogs.
He plays an important role in keeping our daycare running smoothly—helping supervise playtime, making sure every pup stays safe, and giving plenty of attention and care throughout the day.
Bryson is eager to learn and grow in the pet care field, and he takes pride in building trust with each dog he works with. His calm, patient approach helps create a positive and comfortable environment for all of our daycare pups.
Tamara – Lead Dog Trainer (ABCDT Certified)
Tamara is a certified ABCDT (Animal Behavior College Dog Trainer) with a true passion for helping dogs and their owners succeed. With a calm, patient approach and strong communication skills, she specializes in building trust, improving behavior, and creating well-balanced, confident dogs.
Tamara focuses on positive reinforcement techniques, clear structure, and consistent training to help dogs learn in a way that makes sense to them. From basic obedience to real-life manners, she works with each dog as an individual—meeting them where they are and guiding them toward success.
Whether your pup needs help with leash skills, house manners, or overall behavior, Tamara brings the knowledge, patience, and hands-on experience to get real results.
Emily – Pet Care Assistant & Drop-In Specialist
Emily is a reliable and compassionate pet care provider who truly loves spending time with animals. As a senior at North Lincoln High School, she brings a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and a caring nature to every visit.
With experience in babysitting—including working with children with special needs—Emily has developed the patience, attentiveness, and calm energy that pets naturally respond to. She treats every dog like her own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
Whether it’s a drop-in visit, playtime, potty break, or overnight stay, Emily is dedicated to giving your pup the attention and care they deserve.
